Plas Coch - Smooth Radio
While working in MediaCity I worked with a production company on a multi video shoot for the Plas Coch holiday homes in Wales. This was a week worth of shooting on location, followed by 1 month of video editing and animation, as well as additional voice over.
MC2 Media Training Video
As a freelancer I was contacted by MC2 to produce an animated media training video. This was used to help people who were not used to being on camera who were going to be in a live broadcast interview on the BBC, ITV or Channel 5.
All footage was provided and I was responsible for the concept and creation of the above animation.
GetSetGo Promotional Animations
While working for GetSetGo, I was responsible not only for the creation and maintenance of the branding, but also putting together promotional video material which was played on large screens around parts of Putney and Golders Green where the owners.
Forever Manchester Award Ceremony Animation
I was contacted by Forever Manchester to produce a history timeline which would be played at an award ceremony. This didn't include any audio and needed to have sections where the video could be paused while the host was talking.
Parallax Video - Blackpool Towers
I was contact by MC2 to produce a video using only historical images which they had been provided by Blackpool Tower. The idea I came up with was a parallax video with some seaside sound effects which brought the images to life and was played on looped screens in train stations in Manchester and Blackpool.
Pool Platforms Looped Animation
While contracted by Pool Platforms, I was tasked with putting together a promotional looped animation which would be played in a few gyms around London (Curtis + Staub branches). This was to help promote the use of the Pool Platform to swim schools.
I produced the full animation, as well as any photography and film footage across 1 week of shooting. This footage was also used for other future projects.
Sage Animation
I was contacted by SAGE to produce a short animation which was used to promote their services to other businesses. This was used in meetings by the Sage sales staff as well as a paid ad.
FRANKE Tap Ad/Intro
While working for a production company in MediaCity we worked on a large project for FRANKE to promote their new tap which did standard hot/cold as well as ice cold and boiling water. I produced the above short piece for them which was used as both an intro and outro, as well as a short advert on YouTube which linked to a landing page explaining more about the tap.
EA Futsal Five Intro
While filming live (screen, not broadcast) Futsal (5v5 football) for a production company I ended up in a conversation with one of the EA reps who hired my as a freelancer to produce a short animation which would be used by their editors for all futsal content online.
Plas Coch, Green Meadow
As well as the promotional piece with David Jensen, we produced 6 3-5 minute promotional pieces for each holiday park around Wales. Each location had its own colour, this one being for Green Meadow in north Wales. The black space in the background was an alpha channel (transparency) so we could use different footage as part of the intro.
Pick of the Flicks Intro
While working for a production company in MediaCity, they also hosted their own review website for movies and would regularly be invited to screenings in London which I was also apart of. I was tasked with producing a short animated intro for a video segment which was played on the big screen in MediaCity. This highlighted new releases and reviews on this website.
Green Deal - Real Radio Intro
While working for a production company in MediaCity I was tasked with putting together a short intro for Real Radio to advertise an event called "GreenDeal". The black space is alpha channel (transparency) which allowed their editors to simply place the animation above their footage so it could be part of the out transition.
First Take Media Group Intro
I was contacted as a freelancer by First Take Media Group to produce a short intro which could work on a 16:9 as well as 1:1 space (social media). The above is the final intro.
Test Footage
Below are various pieces of test footage I used to help sell an idea. These range from tracked footage to animated splash screens for apps.
